Two More Madea's Big Happy Family Parody Posters![]()
Set to be released on April 22, the marketing angle for Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family has been fairly simple - take great movies, both from the past and last year, and bastardize them to his own needs. We've already seen him sully the names of both The Godfather and Black Swan, and now the hurricane of awfulness is continuing down the road.
Cinematical has posted two new posters from Perry's next film, one taking on the Coen brothers' True Grit, the other Tom Hooper's The King's Speech. The question I have is if even Tyler Perry fans find this funny? How is this level of dumb any better than what Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg pump out every couple of years, which is considered some of the worst dreck that modern cinemas have had to endure? And why have they decided to steal a line from Rush Hour? So much about all of this leaves me truly dumbfounded. I think Tyler Perry is the only one that actually finds these posters funny. Check out the King's Speech parody poster below (which cries "halleluyer" if you click on it) and head over to Cinematical to see the True Grit poster. |
