With two weeks to go, Oscar Chat 6 keeps getting bigger and better. Last week the guys over at Moviehole jumped on board to join us in co-sponsoring the event. This week we have two new participants. Our friends over at PopSyndicate and FilmStalker are partnering up with us as well, to make this the most incredible Oscar Chat yet.

This year, for the first time ever, we’re bringing the internet movie community together for one night of hanging out. We’re partnering up with Moviehole.net, FilmStalker.co.uk, and PopSyndicate to present the biggest, baddest Oscar chatting experience possible. Clint and the Moviehole Australian blokes, Stefan and the guys from PopSyndicate, and Richard and his gang in the UK will join us, for the internet’s first multi-website, wholly international Academy Awards experience.

Turn on your computer at the appointed time and click right on in to the CB Chatroom by clicking over to here or on one of the big Oscar Chat buttons that will appear all over the site on the Chat day. Feel free too bookmark it for maximum effect.

WHAT THE HECK IS IT: Simple. Cinema Blend, Moviehole, PopSyndicate, and Filmstalker readers and staff gather around in the all new, revamped and re-glossed Cinema Blend, chatroom and watch the Oscars together. Actually, you don’t even have to watch the Oscars to be a part of it. I’m told by those who’ve participated with their TVs turned off that it’s actually better that way, since you don’t have to sit throughthe boring speeches. Either way, while the awards are happening, we chat about what's going on, what we're eating, and then vie for a place in the Oscar Chat hot tub. Ok, there's not really a hot tub (or is there?).
