As part of their 2009 preview, Warner Bros. has released two more official Where the Wild Things Are images. Hey WB, does this mean the movie might, you know, actually be released some day? Some of us have been wondering.

They list October 16, 2009 as the movie’s current release date. After controversy and rumors of recuts and redos, and studio interference… it’s anyone’s guess exactly what kind of film we’ll get should it ever actually be released. In the meantime here’s those two, newish photos:
