I know it's not really fair to be jealous of child actors, what with the perils of fame and the managers and the lack of real childhood and all, but still. The kids who get picked to be voices in Pixar movies, like Finding Nemo's Alexander Gould and Up's Jordan Nagai, are the luckiest bastards in the world. They get to hang out with John Lasseter! They get toys with their faces on it! They fulfill pretty much every childhood dream there is, except for maybe being friends with Batman.
Pixar Planet is reporting that two more kids have joined those lucky ranks, signing on to voice Andy's younger sister Molly and a new character named Bonnie in Toy Story 3. The actors, Beatrice Miller and Emily Hahn, are pretty much unknown child actors, which means they likely made their way into the movie through the traditional route of auditions (unlike the voice of Up's Ellie, who is director Pete Docter's daughter).
We know so little about the plot that there's no way of knowing how these girls will fit into the story. That still won't stop me from being terribly, unflatteringly jealous of both of them.
