A photo which appears to be the first ever image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has found its way online. It’s not entirely clear where it came from or whether this thing is an intentional leak to build interest (those watermarks seem so overboard they have to be fake don’t they?), or if it isn’t intentional how it showed up on the internet in the first place. What I’m getting at here is that we don’t know anything about where it came from, but hey, here’s this image.

The photo first showed up on the Harry Potter fan site Mugglenet. It appears to depict the battle of Hogwarts, with a dirty and bedraggled Neville Longbottom in the foreground, and Bellatrix Lestrange lurking in the background, almost certainly planning to do something nasty to the always hapless Neville. Take a look:

UPDATE! A color version of the photo is now floating around... and still we have no idea where it came from (if it's yours, let us know!). But here's the color version instead of the black and white, weirdly watermarked one:
