The third Underworld movie is a prequel and while it may not have Kate Beckinsale, it does have the fake Kate Beckinsale, one Rhona Mitra. The first trailer for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is here, and it’s a fair bet that a significant portion of the audience who sees it will never guess for a minute that this isn’t Beckinsale in front of the camera.

Kate or no Kate the trailer is surprisingly well put together and it does still have the greatness of Michael Sheen and Billy Nighy going for it, while at the same time having jettisoned the dead weight that is Scott Speedman.
