Here’s something I’m pretty certain of: In the Name of the King will be the biggest grossing Uwe Boll movie of all time. Of course that’s not saying much when you consider the dire failure his other films have been, but the new trailer we’ve just received for it is the first Uwe Boll trailer I’ve seen that didn’t instantly make me want to throw up. It almost looks, dare I say it, entertaining.
But maybe that’s just my mind reacting to the presence of John Rhys Davies, who so deserves to be in better movies. Luckily, they avoided showing Burt Reynolds in this latest ad, since in the previous ones every time he shows up on screen it’s hard not to laugh.
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale is Uwe Boll’s latest videogame adaptation, this time it’s a fantasy movie with knights, swords, evil magicians, and Leelee Sobieski. We’ve gotten a ton of new stuff for the film, including the brand new trailer, new poster, and new stills. It’s all below. Scroll!

NOOOOO! Not Jason Statham! Jason has it hard enough as it is, and being the star in a Uwe Boll film is going to pretty much seal his fate of never getting another role again! Ray Liota, and John Rhys Davis are capable of making a crappy picture here and there and not being damaged by it. However, Jason Statham has not had a solid hit in a while and if this movie turns out to be shit(which is a definite thing) then he will be stuck in supporting character limbo! Seriously who is stupid enough to keep giving Uwe Boll money? He might be able to find his niche in comedy with Postal(probably too optimistic) but he needs to give up on action movies. Directors are supposed to learn as they get farther into their careers but Boll's movie keep getting worse and worse. The funny thing is he has steadily been releasing more movies each year. Either somebody put him out of his misery, or force him to pay for his own movies so he eventually runs out of money. This guy makes Ed Wood look like Stanley Kubrick.
