So far every actress of any notoriety (and some with none) has been confirmed as being cast in the next James Bond movie as his latest date, Vesper Lind. As far as we know, none of those women actually have anything to do with the movie. Keep that in mind when I tell you that there's another babe with a claim on the Vesper Lind role.

The notorious gossip rag Page Six says they know who is playing Bond's new babe. According to them, it's Eva Green. You might remember her as the frequently nude Isabelle in Bertolucci's 2003 NC-17 art movie The Dreamers. She also had a part in Kingdom of Heaven, which means she's spent a lot of time working for brilliant directors doing some of their absolute worst work.

Page Six says this is an absolute fact. But we've heard that so many times in regards to Casino Royale that it can't be taken as anything other than a wild rumor until there's an official press release from MGM studios.

If Eva is the girl in 007's sheets, she might be a good fit. From what we've seen of her she's a decent enough actress, and she's rather nice to look at. Bikinis will be no problem, and that's all anyone really cares about in a Bond babe. As a bonus though, she has an interesting sort of smoldering look that might even make her something a little special in the annals of Bond's bedding achievements.
