Video Blog: Katey And Nathaniel Review 500 Days Of Summer![]()
As you probably know, I spent the previous five days navigating throngs of nerds and Hollywood types as I did my best to cover Comic Con 2009 for you dear readers. But before I left for San Diego, The Film Experience's Nathaniel Rogers and I headed to nearby Morningside Park to record our thoughts on 500 Days of Summer, the well-regarded new indie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a young man struggling to get over his relationship with a beautiful, inscrutable girl named Summer (Zooey Deschanel).
Watch below as we both find a lot to praise about the movie, but I express some reservations about the lead female character and some potential style over content issues. 500 Days of Summer is out in theaters now, and will be expanding wide as the summer goes forward. Regardless of my mixed feelings on it, it's definitely worth a look. |
