The real shame about Twilight is that star Robert Pattinson, a.k.a. Edward, won't be able to use his native British accent. Not that he's not plenty handsome on his own, but when Pattinson speaks in the interview he did with Variety's Anne Thompson, the hotness factor is cranked up to a new level.
The video interview, which we've embedded below, isn't particularly well-lit, and Pattinson isn't dressed for the red carpet. But who really cares about that anyway? He talks about auditioning for the role of Edward, which required him to take off his shirt, and the ways his character is different from the version in the book. It's a long interview too, so you'll have plenty of time to gaze at the-man-who-will-be-Edward in anticipation of Twilight's Nov. 21 release. As the kids say, OME!
