Video: Paul Scheer Talks Love For Paper Heart![]()
The deal with Paper Heart, so far as I can tell, is that it's about a comedian, Charlyne Yi, who travels around the country asking everyday people about love. And yet as a promotional video for the film, they've released a video of Yi interviewing Paul Scheer, another comedian and someone distinctly unqualified to talk about love.
I mean, it's funny and all, kind of like that fake video of Michael Cera storming off the set of Knocked Up. But it doesn't seem really fitting with the tone of the movie at all (again, I haven't seen it; maybe the whole thing feels like part of a sketch comedy show). Really, it's more of an ad for Paul Scheer, comedian. Check it out below and, especially if you've seen the movie, let me know if it's as different in tone as I suspect it is. Paper Heart hits theaters August 7.
