Viggo Mortensen Takes On Two Roles In First Trailer For Everybody Has A Plan
Viggo Mortensen clearly has many talents as an actor, but one you may not know about is his linguistic skills. The star is fluent in English, Spanish, Danish, and French, and can speak some Swedish and Norwegian (and we've all seen him talk in Elvish too). As one could expect, these languages could give him an edge in terms of his ability to stretch his performance, and it has paid off with the movie Everybody Has A Plan.
Written and directed by Ana Piterbarg, the new movie is set in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and not only features Mortensen speaking a foreign language, but also playing dual roles. The first trailer for the movie has been released by 20th Century Fox International and you can watch the preview below.
The story follows a man named Agustín (Mortensen), who has grown tired of and frustrated with his life. When his twin brother Pedro (also Mortensen) reappears, however, he sees an opportunity to escape and assumes his brother's life. This plan backfires when Agustin becomes involved in the deadly criminal underworld that his brother was a part of. Soledad Villamil, Daniel Fanego, Javier Godino and Sofia Gala co-star in the movie, which marks Piterbarg's directorial debut. Everybody Has A Plan is currently playing at the Toronto International Film Festival, but doesn't yet have a release date in the United States.
