Voldemort Cast Wizard news travels fast! According to The Leaky Cauldron, according to AICN, and now according to us, the villainous Lord Voldemort has been cast for the fourth Harry Potter film. Previous rumors have included John Malkavich among others, and this wishful writer has always wanted David Bowie to play the role, but He Who Must Not Be Named will be played by none other then Ralph Fiennes!
If this is true, this is a great casting choice! While I've been able to imagine other Harry Potter stars better used in other roles, I can immediately picture Fiennes in the role, and can't imagine another character he'd be better used as. Previously Fiennes has played the villain in Schindler's List and a sympathetic bad guy in Strange Days. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is expected in theaters in 2005. ![]() Got questions?
