In case you missed it, earlier this week the big gossip floating around the net was that Larry Wachowski, one half of the Wachowski Brothers (the guys who created The Matrix), had completed a sex change to become a woman and changed his name to Lana. Well now everyone is denying everything. Everyone except Larry that is.

The denials come from Fox News, the first place you’d expect to deny a high-profile public figure is doing anything against god’s master plan, where they leaped into action after hearing the rumors and lined up a bunch of people to deny them. Rather than contacting Larry, they went to people at Warner Brothers, where the Wachowskis are currently filming their new, G-rated, family movie Speed Racer. To no one’s surprise, everyone at Warners denied everything.

Of course a major part of the original story was that Warners and the Wachowskis were keeping things under wraps until after the premiere of Speed Racer out of fear of public backlash against their family movie. So its really no surprise that Warner Brothers and everyone on the lot denies everything. They aren’t even very convincing, claiming that they’ve never seen Larry in a dress at all and making him sound as if he’s just walked off a Brawny paper towel package.

Call me crazy, but I thought it was fairly common knowledge that Larry had a thing for dresses and that this was part of why the Wachowskis have always been so reclusive. Isn’t that a fairly well established fact? I mean, there are pictures of the guy all femmed up. I’m not buying the denial unless it comes from Larry or his brother Andy, but just in case you’re interested Joel Silver and the WB insist that Lana Wachowski is still Larry. Alright, whatever. Really who cares? People shouldn’t. Watch their movies, let Larry or Lana or whatever be happy. Judging from the poll we ran yesterday, I'm happy to say almost all of our readers agree.
