Wachowski's Ninja Movie Plot Details Leak Online![]()
With Speed Racer currently sinking at the box office, it’s time to focus some attention on the Wachowski Brothers’ next project. As we noted back in February, it is called Ninja Assassin. A movie with that title could be about so many different things, but my guess is it is about some sort of assassin who is also a Ninja. I’m out on a limb, but I’m going to stick with that. The Wachowskis and Joel Silver will produce with V for Vendetta’s James McTiegue directing.
While Warner Brother’s has sent out an official synopsis about the now-filming movie, the guys over at IESB have a contact that gave them a full set of story details. The link will take you to a shot by shot breakdown of the first scene in the movie. It contains spoilerish material, so if you want to be surprised you should stop reading this article and stay away from the full story at IESB. Of course, if you were like that, you probably wouldn’t be reading this article in the first place; you’d be walking your dog or rotating your tires or something productive. The first scene, as outlined by the IESB source, takes place in a tattoo parlor with a Japanese mobster, Hollywood, getting a tattoo on his back. The mobster doesn’t believe in Ninjas and mocks the old man in the tattoo parlor who was the sole survivor of a Ninja attack many years ago. Before you know it, a Ninja shows up and slices everyone to ribbons, leaving the old man alive. It doesn’t exactly sound like the most original opening ever, but a lot of it will be based on the visuals, of course. IESB says they have more plot information, so stay tuned! |
