The new Wall-E trailer is online now! See it in glorious high definition quicktime at Apple.com or on the Flash player at Disney.com. There’s an added incentive to see it at Apple, however. They also have a short “Vacuum Vignette,” which is essentially an extended version of the Super Bowl trailer without Buzz and Woody’s interruptions. Just Wall-E messing around with a vacuum cleaner and getting his little bug buddy into trouble, again.
As far as the trailer goes, the first half or so is almost all footage we’ve seen before. Then Eve arrives and it’s almost all new footage. We finally get to see Wall-E’s loneliness and a little bit of the bond between the two robots. We also get to see more robots than just Wall-E and Eve, which is pretty exciting as well. Oh, and there’s a human in there too.
I could do without the voiceover which was previously served by text cards, and the use of “At Last” makes me wonder if the film will rely on classic music as well. After all, the first two trailers made use of “Aquarela do Brasil” and now we get a little Etta James. It makes sense that a robot trapped on Earth cleaning up after humans would have classic music tastes, doesn’t it? I know it probably won’t be in the final film, but it’s still fun to speculate.
Stop reading my blathering. Head over to Apple.com and check out the full Wall-E trailer!

I just think the voiceover takes away from the simplicity of the humour. The rest of the trailer was fantastic though, I absolutely cant wait for this movie.
