Wall Street 2 Leads Go For A Stroll In Central Park
Check out Shia LaBeouf getting stock tips from Gordon Gekko himself, Michael Douglas. I don’t really know what they’re talking about, but I’m guessing it’s stocks because this photo was snapped by Slash News (via Coming Soon) while LaBeouf and Douglas shot a scene of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps at the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan. You can check out a smaller version of one of the set photos below, and a whole bunch of others at Coming Soon.
Wall Street 2 kicks off 20 years after the original 1987 Academy Award-winning film left off. Gordon Gekko (Douglas) has been released from prison, but when he tries to alert the financial community that catastrophe is on the way, nobody listens. Gekko decides to switch gears and focus his attention on rebuilding another area of his life, his relationship with his daughter. Jake Moore (LaBeouf) is an up-and-coming trader who’s thrown off track when his mentor (Frank Langella) allegedly commits suicide. It just so happens that his fiancé (Carey Mulligan) is Gekko’s estranged daughter and the two opt to team up so Jake can help Gekko reunite with his daughter and Gekko can help Jake hunt down the man he thinks is responsible for his mentor’s death. Either these two guys grabbed a bite to eat in costume or their characters have a lunch date in the film, because it looks like Douglas stole a restaurant napkin (left hand) and is attempting to fish a toothpick out his mouth. Other than that we’re looking at what we expected; a clean-cut young broker chatting it up with a disheveled looking Gekko. ![]() |
