This week Entertainment Weekly is running its annual look at the big movies of the new year. Among the articles they’ve got some great stills from several of our most anticipated movies of 2009. Warner Brothers has been kind enough to send over some of the stills from their three big pictures: Watchmen, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and Terminator Salvation.

These are some pretty nice images, particularly the one from Harry Potter, which shows Harry and Ginny Weasley in a near-liplock. Fans of the franchise know what direction their relationship heads, and Daniel Radcliffe has some interesting things to say about that in the magazine, considering their ages (11 and 9) when the movies first started filming. The shot of Christian Bale near the Terminator exoskeleton is pretty darn cool as well.
