Warner Offers Scores For Your Consideration![]()
As we noted earlier today, Warner Brothers is already stepping up their awards season campaign, running ads in Variety promoting The Dark Knight for a variety of awards. The Batman movie isn’t the studio’s only awards season contender, however. It’s obvious Warner Brothers is putting a lot of interest into The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Gran Torino to perform as well, among others.
As part of their promotion, the studio has created a For Your Consideration website, which has stills and information from a bunch of their movies. Additionally, the score for each movie has been included, which is an interesting choice. Benjamin Button and Gran Torino haven’t been released yet, while The Dark Knight has already been ruled ineligible for the Best Score Oscar category. Of course, right now the focus of the website is for the Golden Globes and BAFTA awards, but you have to imagine this will serve for the studio’s Oscar push as well. Head over to WB’s For Your Consideration website to hear the scores from the upcoming Gran Torino, Benjamin Button, and a few other movies from earlier in the year, including that kick-ass soundtrack to The Dark Knight. |
