Hollywood releases at least one movie like I Am Number Four, every year. It seems to fall pretty neatly into the teenagers with abilities realized on screen with competent if unspectacular CGI genre, alongside already forgotten movies like Push and Jumper. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Push was a lot more fun than it gets credit for and, well, at least I Am Number Four hasn’t been saddled with Hayden Christensen. Sure Alex Pettyfer looks like he’s been taking untested human growth hormone, but just about anything with Tim Olyphant is worth watching once. Even that horrible movie Hitman.
