Watch A Tense Two Minute Clip From Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive
While there are still plenty of fantastic looking films set to come out later this year, there are few that I am looking forward to more than Drive. The newest from Bronson director Nicolas Winding Refn, the movie stars Ryan Gosling as a stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver. If that isn't enough to sell you, however, how about the stellar supporting cast, which includes the likes of Carey Mulligan, Christina Hendricks, Albert Brooks, Ron Perlman, and Bryan Cranston. Still not convinced? Take a look at the first footage then.
Set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this month, a two-minute clip has shown up online. The clip is extremely low on dialogue - in fact, Gosling doesn't say a single word - but it's incredibly tense. The action starts just as the video ends, but if it is anywhere near as cool as these two minutes, then we can only expect the best.
Unfortunately the video can't be embedded (boo!), but if you head over to the Cannes Film Festival website you can watch the whole thing in HD.
