The folks at Funny or Die have been attracting increasingly top talent to star in their parody videos, but this marks a step in a new direction for the Will Ferrell backed humor site. Now they’ve started attracting top directing talent too. Their latest parody video is written and directed by none other than David Mamet, and it features Danny DeVito talking about his upcoming role in the film Gandhi II.

Mamet is a wildly successful playwright but he’s also made some pretty great films. Anybody see Spartan? Really good. Now he’s doing parody videos and, well that’s pretty good too. Watch Danny DeVito’s ramblings gradually grow more offensive as he’s painted brown in preparation for his new role:
