Watch This New Preview For Prometheus, Trailer Arrives This Thursday

This day couldn't get any crazier for movie trailers if it tried. In the last two hours we've posted brand new previews for 21 Jump Street, Wrath of the Titans, and that teeny-tiny independent production called The Dark Knight Rises. But tis the season to promote next summer's crazy blockbusters. For example, the first trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus will be arriving online Thursday (so be sure to check back) but in case you can't wait that long today brings a nice little tease/featurette about the upcoming science fiction epic.

Check out the preview below and in HD over on Apple.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green and Guy Pearce, Prometheus is director Ridley Scott's first return to the science-fiction genre since 1982's Blade Runner. Set in the distant future, the film is about a group of scientists looking to find the true origin of mankind on Earth, and they travel to the edge of the universe to find it. But what they don't know is that finding the answer could put the future of the entire human race in jeopardy. Check back with us later this week for the first Prometheus trailer and head over to our Blend Film Database to see more from the movie
