Star Trek was great, but if the movie had any flaws they can all pretty much be traced back to a single source: The movie needed more Nero. Eric Bana’s villain never really got the kind of character development he deserved, or at least not in the version of the movie we saw. It seems a significant portion of the character’s screen time was cut, including a scene in which he kicks the ass of a bunch of Klingons. That’s right, Star Trek was supposed to have Klingons!

That scene, along with many others will show up on the impending Star Trek DVD, but why wait? Nero’s deleted Klingon scene is online right now, and it’s every bit as awesome as you’d imagine. Watch:
