If Gary Ross' The Hunger Games were made to match the book exactly, there's no way that it would be rated PG-13. But while the movie does tame some of the most horrific and vile events that happen in the story, don't take that to mean that the film is all warm and fuzzy. After all, this is still the story of a young girl who is sent into an arena to kill 23 of her peers. For that reason, though, it's strange that The Hunger Games has largely appealed to a teen audience, something that College Humor has wonderfully parodied in their new video.

The comedy site has crafted a new skit that looks like your standard girl-centric board game commercial - in the vein of Girl Talk and Mystery Date - but with a dash of The Hunger Games' more violent style. It may sound like a somewhat silly idea, but the result is actually quite clever and funny. Watch it below.

The Hunger Games - due out this Friday - stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Isabelle Fuhrman, Donald Sutherland and Lenny Kravitz.
