Watchmen Video Diary #4![]()
I know people are fairly nuts about this Dark Knight movie, but the superhero flick I’m most looking forward to is Watchmen. Maybe it’s because they haven’t resorted to silly scavenger hunts to market it, or maybe it’s because it’s based on one of the best written works of the 20th Century, and I guess that makes it one of the best comics too. Having great source material like that can’t possibly hurt.
The fourth in the film’s series of video production diaries has just been released, and it features one of the guys responsible for the aforementioned best written work of the 20th Century talking about how much he loves what they’re doing with the movie. No it’s not Alan Moore. He’s still holed up in a shack somewhere growing a beard and writing comics about beastiality. It’s Dave Gibbons, the other guy who helped make Watchmen possible. He’s the guy who drew it, and as such has a rather unique perspective on what they’re doing with the film visually. He’s take? It’s really good. Check out the video over at UGO. |
