Weekend Box Office
Shrek continues to push forward. Another twelve and a half mill and it will surpass Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace as the fourth highest grossing flick of all time (domestically). Michael Moore also breaks records as the money continues to poor in.Fahrenheit 9/11 is practically out grossing every documentary ever at this point. Will Ferrell with a mustache and Clive Owen with roman armor were no match Tobey in spandex. The other release this weekend, Sleepover, debuted way at the bottom of the top ten. Overall I must say, it was a pretty weak take in this weekend, I mean for the summer. Though that one-two-three punch at the end May/beginning of June is hard to live up to. Let’s hope summer staple Will Smith, who has yet to recover (quality wise) since Wild Wild West, to put some more asses in seats. I’ll be there for that. Anyways...here’s this weeks Top Ten...
