Weekend Box Office

Oh my God! What is wrong with you people! Despite my biggest and best attempt to warn you, Son of the Mask not only made the Top Ten this week, but ended up in the upper half of it, bested only by Will Smith, a battle between Neo and some demons, and a smiling dog. So much for proving Mask is worse than a Uwe Boll film.

On the upside, the Oscar-worthy films in the top ten continue to maintain their momentum. All of them made almost as much money this weekend as they did last weekend, and hopefully will carry that through next weekend for the actual Oscars before dropping off the top ten just in time for some decent new releases.

Here’s this weekend’s top ten:

TOP TEN: February 18, 2005 – February 20th, 2005
