What's Next For McLovin?![]()
If you saw Superbad then you know the real star of the movie was a kid named McLovin: a horny, bespeckeled teenager played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Mintz-Plasse managed to upstage experience comedic performers like Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, and that was enough to earn him another big role in another comedy.
Moviehole spoke to Superbad’s one-named, Hawaiian organ donor and got Christopher to reveal the nature of his next performance. He’ll be getting third billing in a movie called Little Big Men, right behind Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott. No details on what Little Big Men is about yet, but it’s probably safe to assume it’s not a sequel to the horrible Wayans brothers comedy Little Man. It’s directed by David Wain, who’s heavily invested in the comedy troupe The State and directed oddball comedies like The Ten and Wet Hot American Summer. Most of Wain’s work has been fairly underground, cult stuff so don’t be surprised if this ends up flying under the radar even with big stars in Rudd and Scott along to promote it. |
