After last summer’s Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines there has been talks of a fourth chapter in the everlasting saga of John Connor.

Jonathon Mostow, director of T3, has been tapped to write and direct T4. The Rock has apparently spoken out stating that he wants climb aboard, but will only join if series staple Arnold Schwarzenegger returns.

The logic behind this T4 endeavor is masterminded by producers Mario Kasser and Andrew Vajna. The idea is to entice series creator James Cameron back behind the scenes of the Terminator franchise for the fifth and final chapter, T5.

Terminator 4 is alleged to come out sometime in 2006 or 2007.
