I usually don’t cover stories about 007. For starters, Stuart Wood, my old buddy from our days in the jungles of Nam, works for Cinema Blend and is in fact, Scottish. How do I know? He wears a kilt. That’s authenticity for ya. And since Scotland is a part of the United Kingdom (I made an A in World History, baby) that gives ol Stew jurisdiction.over any stories about their famed super spy.

Well, today I can’t find Mr. Wood, so I shall try and do this rumor justice. The entire internet is gaga over a Dame Judi Dench (M) comment on a British TV station. She was quoted as saying Pierce Brosnan would be back as Bond for the next 007 movie, Casino Royale. This would mean no to the Orlando Bloom, Clive Owen, and Daniel Craig rumors that have been circulating for months.

Some sites are acting as if this is gospel. Yeah, the same site that reports rumors that usually start with “Hi, Harry here” thinks this is confirmed. Well, I hope it is but it wouldn’t be the first time an actor opened his or her mouth and didn’t know what was going on.
