Wilkinson And Belushi Are Ghostly For Polanski![]()
Roman Polanski, no stranger to scandal in his personal life, will be tackling one for his next film as well. The Ghost, based on Robert Harris's thriller novel about England's prime minister and a murder scandal. Most of the main cast has been settled for a while, but now Tom Wilkinson and Jim Belushi have hopped on board the film, which begins filming February 4.
Variety isn't saying who either actor will be playing, but the fact that Belushi is American means there will probably be some international elements to what seems like a very British story. This is all happening while Polanski is trying to have the decades-old statutory rape charges against him dropped, which would free him to return to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. But I guess come February 4, he'll have to abandon the behind-the-scenes scandals to focus on some intrigue onscreen. |
