We’ve covered mall cops, now it’s time to move down even lower on the rung of marginal law enforcement. Variety says David Dobkin is set to direct a movie called Neighborhood Watch, and Will Ferrell is in talks to star.

If he signs up, Ferrell would play a city dweller who moves to the suburbs, joins the neighborhood watch, and uncovers a big conspiracy. I liked this movie better when it was called The Burbs. No really, I love The Burbs! I can’t be the only one.
