It’s been rumored for some time that Marvel Entertainment Group was going to start trying to link together the movies depicting its characters. After all, Marvel Comics depict a world full of heroes. Spidey runs into Doctor Strange or Iron Man all the time, so it only makes sense that the movies would start moving in that direction as well.

Until now, the big rumor was that Samuel L. Jackson’s cameo appearance as Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be the unifying link between the upcoming movies. We know Jackson filmed a scene for Iron Man and rumor had it that he would be doing the same for The Incredible Hulk and possibly Captain America. The suspicion was that Fury would unite the characters into an eventual Avengers picture, building on the foundation of the previous pictures (unlike DC’s attempt to create a JLA movie by ignoring the existing Superman and Batman franchises).

A new rumor says Fury cameos may not be the only link between the movies, if Jackson is still intended to film more footage at all. Instead, according to a AICN scooper, a scene is being filmed that features both Iron Man and Hulk. What’s really cool is they have no idea which movie the scene will appear in. Is it an Iron Man scene? Is it a scene for The Incredible Hulk? Or, an even cooler idea, is it a scene that will appear in both films, uniting the pictures completely?

As a fan of the ever-entwining Marvel Universe, this news is exciting. It’s about time we see these heroes joining forces or in conflict with each other. Who better to do that with than the green giant himself, a hero who has gone head-to-head with most of the Marvel heroes at some point or another. The idea of seeing Hulk and Iron Man facing off (assuming that’s what’s going on in the scene) sounds great!

Cloak and Dagger in the next Spidey film would be pretty bitchin'. Or Daredevil (Not played by Affleck, though). The two characters would meet up all the time in their respective comics

I couldnt agree more that its about time that the films were more like the actual comic books. Alot of the films so far have disappointed me (in particular the spiderman series) so I was looking forward to the Iron Man and Hulk releases. Iron man was a great film in my opinion with good humour but once again the Hulk failed to deliver with pritty much the same story line as Iron man. Stark faces basically a darker, bigger but yet untider version of himself and then they do exactly the same for the Hulk?! Really what do these film writers get paid for? They have the storeys there in front of them in the shape of the comics but they alter and change parts to get there own slant on things. In my opinion if you are looking for the Avengers film why didnt they release the storeys of all the other characters apart from the Hulk then you would have the perfect background for the Hulks introduction. A man who ability he cant control and the rest of the team assembled to try and stop the beast thus bringing them all together. Instead they revert back to the same old boring storey of a heros whos enemy is basically himself. There are so many characters within the comic books series to work with yet these writers keep ruining a film with so much potential by adding something of there own. Its not good when a brand new original character like "Hancock" can steal the limelight from the classic heros.

on the latest movie of the incredible hulk, i saw tony stark , the iron man helping the general build a cannon to defeat the hulk and this is my question.....

Will Hulkand Iron Man battle each other?

It's fun to talk about and watch, but obviously it's impossible for Iron Man to defeat the Hulk or Superman for that matter. I'm talking like a kid here but face it....Iron man is a normal size man of size and strength in a super suit.....he's no Batman either..who would give a better fight to either of the above...Iron Man is way overrated..but it was a decent movie..I really thought it was overrated but that's my opinion. I liked the Hulk it has a compasion and sadness in it. Iron Man had none of it.
