Willie Nelson must love working with Jessica Simpson. They teamed up for a music video and a movie based on Dukes of Hazzard and now he’s following her to another movie. The Hollywood Reporter says he’s joined the cast of Jessica’s Working Girl remake Blonde Ambition.
The movie’s about ruthless business executives, and I have no idea how Willie can possibly fit into the business world, unless maybe he’s an executive pot dealer. But don’t CEO’s usually do coke?
I guess Jessica’s character has a hick background, because Willie is supposed to be playing her father. Like Working Girl, Blonde Ambition is about a blonde airhead (Simpson) who becomes the pawn of corporate head honchos in their bid for power. Maybe Willie’s just doing a cameo?
Also new to the movie is Larry Miller. Already in the cast is Luke Wilson, Rachel Leigh Cook, Andy Dick, and Penelope Ann Miller.
