Win Tickets To See Short Term 12 In Theaters This Weekend

As summer movie season wraps up and all the major releases start to look pretty worthless, it's a great time to start catching up on indie releases-- and there's seriously no lack of great ones out there, whether you're in a large city that has them in limited release or have to rely on VOD selections. And if you live in the New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Phoenix, Philadelphia or Boston areas, you can win FREE TICKETS to see one of the year's best indies this weekend.

Short Term 12, which you may have already heard is fantastic, opens in all of those cities this weekend, and to celebrate we're giving away two pairs of tickets to see it. Before we tell you how to enter, check out the film's trailer below so you know what you're in for:

Starring Brie Larson (of The Spectacular Now and 21 Jump Street) and John Gallagher Jr. (of The Newsroom), Short Term 12, take the kind of subject matter you might think unbearable-- foster kids in a short-term care facility, and the people who look after them-- and enriches it with humor and fascinatingly real characters, along with performances from the entire cast that make the film come brilliantly alive. Larson has been pegged as a rising star for years now, but it's hard to deny after seeing this performance, and even younger performers like Kaitlyn Deaver and Keith Stanfield make an undeniable impression. For more raving about the movie you can also listen to our Operation Kino podcast review.
