I’m really astonished that, after years of calling the X-Men spin off movie Wolverine, the title changed to remind us this was part of a bigger picture: X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It’s as if Fox had forgotten how disgruntled all the fans got after X-Men 3 and wanted to make sure everyone knew this was part of the same franchise.

Fox appears to be taking that mentality one step further in France, where the poster for X-Men Origins: Wolverine strongly resembles the posters for the other X-Men movies… at least the posters for the first two movies, before the characters went all Rent for the third movie (boy, it really was a bad movie all around, wasn't it?).

Coming Soon.net brings us the international poster for the upcoming movie, which plays up the ensemble part of the movie, displaying more than just Hugh Jackman’s title character. Taylor Kitch’s Gambit and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, both strong parts of the movie’s trailers, appear pretty prominently here, reminding us that, while this may be Wolvie’s movie, he doesn’t get the entire spotlight to himself.
