Yesterday we got the first picture of Hugh Jackman reprising the role of Wolverine in the character’s upcoming solo project X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Tonight we have a line on who may have been cast to play his love interest in the movie.
His babe will be named Silver Fox, and there have been several rumors about who might end up playing her over the past few months. The latest comes from IESB where they claim Lynn Collins has been cast to play her.
Who? Yeah I wondered that too. She’s been the “other girl” in a string of major Hollywood movies. Best friends and fringe characters have been her domain. You might have seen her in The Number 23 or in 13 Going on 30. If she really has the part, she’s beaten out a lot of bigger names. Both Maggie Q and Michelle Monaghan were at one point rumored to be up for the role of Silver Fox.
Side note: Shouldn’t a character named “Silver Fox” be played by Steve Martin or, if they’re on a budget, John O’Hurley? Just a thought. I’d love to see Logan shacking up with J. Peterman.
