The Wonder Woman casting frenzy continues to chug along. We reported a rumor here last week, from a scoop by PR Inside, that Whedon had chosen brunette star Rachel Bilson of “The O.C.” and The Last Kiss to play the Amazonian in his film. Just one problem: it’s a load of bull.Not that this is surprising. Almost nothing we’ve heard about the Wonder Woman movie has been anything but fan-crazed hooplah. According to IESB, who met with Bilson during a press day for The Last Kiss, she was surprised to hear about the rumors and had no idea where they stemmed from. In other words, they’re a big pile of hogwash. And hopefully, her hopes didn’t rise just from the mere suggestion of working with Whedon. As for who will actually play the femme superhero, it’s anyone’s guess. Look for another rumor about a brown-haired actress to be faux cast by the week's end.
