It seems like we’ve been talking about Woody Allen’s upcoming Barcelona movie forever, but now the thing is finally shaping up into an actual project. In a press conference today, Woody officially announced his film and promised to make the same kind of sweet, sweet love to Barcelona that he’s been giving to Manhattan all these years. I hope nobody tells Manhattan that Woody is cheating.

More importantly, Variety says Woody announced his cast. Starring will be Woody’s latest obsession, the too beautiful to be seen Scarlett Johansson. Also in the cast are people who can actually speak Spanish in Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know. Woody isn’t telling us what it’s about or even what the title is. So until he does, we’ll just keep calling it Woody’s Big Barcelona Pic. If you live in Barcelona, keep an eye out for Woody, wandering around your city and humping the cobblestones.
