Woody Allen has gone through at least three generations of women. There was Diane Keaton in the 70s, Mia Farrow in the 80s, and of course, Allen’s 21st century muse, Scarlett Johansson. Now Woody has his heart set on a new leading lady to help feed his art. Unfortunately for him, she’s already spoken for by a very powerful man.
According to THR, Allen has an interest in using France’s First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in a future film. Speaking to a RTL Radio on Thursday, Allen said, “She's got charisma, she's already acted so she's not unknown to an audience. There are a lot of ways I could use her though I don't have a story for her at the moment.”
So this definitely isn’t like calling Michelle Obama to take a role in a movie. Bruni-Sarkozy not only has acting experience but modeling experience as well. Gotta love a woman with many talents. Allen doesn’t have a script for Carla quite yet, but seeing as he tends to be quite prolific, I’m sure he’ll have something ready for her by next week.
