There's only one thing more annoying than anonymous scoops and that is sneaky set photos. Quite how all on-set photos come out looking like they've been lying in someone's dusty attic for 20 years will forever remain a mystery. Maybe everyone's using camera phones on set visits now that they can't take them to the cinema without going to jail. Take a tip guys, if you wanna take photos, learn how to use the camera properly.

So it is that crappy UK tabloid The Sun has given us the worst possible first look at Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's upcoming remake. I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that the photo's grainier than a beach or the fact that they couldn't even get it in color. Something that should've been a HUGE revelation now just looks like a paparazzi shot of Johhny at a Victorian beach party.

I wish they hadn't bothered and waited for something better to come along that might've had "WOW" factor.
