According to Super Hero Hype, the eagerly awaited/almost sure to be a disaster X3 will make its debut at the prestigious Cannes film festival. Don't worry no one has slipped acid in your coffee, you read that right.

This will not be the first time the prestigious Cannes film festival, long seen as a last bastion of quality, films has been attacked by the forces of Blockbuster crap. Roger Ebert once described the spectacle of watching Godzilla at the fest with the words, "Going to see "Godzilla" at the Palais of the Cannes Film Festival is like attending a satanic ritual in St. Peter's Basilica." If X3 is as bad as it seems expect Ebert to break down in tears for days before finally going catatonic.

Yes while it must be allowed the teaser and trailer are best described as awesome, I still have my doubts to say the least. Compare the fan feelings for the third Spider-Man without a single frame on view, and the feelings for X3 with the full force of the Fox Hype Machine behind it, and it becomes very plain that Fox seems determined to force its best directors into retirment, ruin its best franchises, and eventually run the studio into the ground.
