As a person who thinks X-Men and X-2 are two of the three best comic book movies ever, I am just burned out reporting anything on X-3. I haven’t found much to excite me. Well, the news that AICN (among others) has really isn’t changing that opinion.

First, I didn’t report on the “mutant whore” story from last week because frankly, it sounded ridiculous. However, it keeps getting talked about. The rumor said that director Brett Ratner wants to create a new character for the movie. The mutant’s powers would be that she secretes a pheromone that lets her attract any man. (Hmm.. I thought women had this power anyways) But Ratner wants her to be a hooker too. So we have a woman with unstoppable powers of whoredom. Thanks Ratner! I’m so relieved now.

The bigger rumor involves Angel finally joining the X-Men. Now, I’m not a comic book reader but the word is that Nick Stahl (Sin City) will play Angel. Maybe I should research it more, but that isn’t the BNN way. Stahl just doesn’t seem right for how I'd envisioned the character. Stahl is a great actor though, and at least Ratner isn’t hiring pro wrestlers to go along with his search for whores.
