Your Crush From Chuck Is Making Australian Movies![]()
On TV's Chuck, Yvonne Strahovski does such a flawless American accent it's easy to forget that she's actually a native Australian. But that doesn't mean she's forgotten her roots; in fact, the actress we all know as super-agent Sarah is taking on two Australian movie projects while back home during the Chuck hiatus (well, that's assuming the show is coming back, which I'm just going to assume it will because, come on, it's Chuck).
According to our friend Clint at Moviehole, Strahovski has signed on to play a part in an untitled film from Malcolm directors Nadia Tass and David Parker. Though Moviehole provides a long plot summary, it doesn't say who Strahovski will be playing, which might indicate the role is more of a cameo. Also in the cast are Richard Roxburgh, Jacinda Barrett, James Nesbitt, and Kodi Smit-McPhee, a child actor whose expected big break was put on hold when The Road was pushed back from a 2008 release. Maybe this movie will turn out to be that instead-- child guest star on Chuck, anyone? |
