Your Highness has become my most anticipated movie of all time. What does it get wrong? It’s a period comedy co-written by Danny McBride and directed by indie-turned-comedy director David Gordon Green. It will star McBride and James Franco. And on top of all that, it will feature Natalie Portman as McBride’s love interest. But wait! There’s more!

What? That’s not all, Tim? Nope. THR is reporting today that Zooey Deschanel has signed on to star in Your Highness as James Franco’s “virginal bride,” Belladonna. The minds of every movie geek, hipster douche, and human being that feels attraction towards those without a Y chromosome just got blown. Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel together in ONE movie? How is that even legal?

David Gordon Green is putting together a great flick here. All we can hope for now is that the material lives up to the cast he’s built. To waste all this undeniable beauty on a bad movie would be a sin or, if you’re not into Jesus, just plain stupid.
