Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis are teaming up for a comedy in which they’ll play the same person: a man whose beard grows so quickly that even though he shaves frequently, each morning he wakes up fully bearded and, incidentally, a completely different person. Or they’re doing a Valerie Faris/Jonathan Dayton directed movie called Will, which has a plot that sounds like Bruce Almighty meets Stranger than Fiction. Yep, it’s definitely the second one, though I maintain the first idea is better.

THR says Will will star Paul Rudd as a guy “who lives in a world where people's lives and destinies are being written by scribes in Heaven.” Maybe it’s more like Bruce Almighty meets Stranger than Fiction meets The Invention of Lying. Zach G. will be Paul Rudd’s heavenly writer who, for some reason, goes on strike leaving Rudd to go about his day unscripted. Just like a normal person who isn’t in a movie! That’s crazy. Who’d want to live like that?

This will be Zach and Paul’s second big adventure. Their first happens in Dinner for Schmucks, where they’ll both show up for the eats.
