Zach Galifianakis Will Require All Of The King's Horses![]()
Still flush with Hangover success Zach Galifianakis is lining up a whole host of new movie projects in which he’ll probably be stuck playing “that random guy with a beard” (as he does in Up in the Air). But now he has at least one film in which his facial hair won’t matter. THR says he’s doing a voice in the animated Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots.
The Shrek universe is populated with fantasy characters and so, of course, that’s what he’ll be. Word is he’s voicing Humpty Dumpty who, I’ve heard, at some point has a great fall. Antonio Banderas is already on board the movie to put the Puss in its Boots. Also signed is Salma Hayek who, I presume will play some sort of busty wet nurse. Whoops, no, she’s playing a character named “Kitty”, which sounds a lot like a furry love interest for Puss. No interspecies romance here! Look for Puss in Boots on your local theater’s marquee around November 4, 2011. |
