Monday I brought you some brief Hitchhiker’s Guide set footage here and the hideous rumor that Zaphod’s head would not be located properly on his shoulders, but would in fact instead be located inside his nose. In effect, he’d have no second head, which of course made me start wondering about the status of his third arm. Would it be in his ass?

Well, the rumors are still flying, but the fan site DouglasAdams.se offers hope of savior from mono-headed Zaphods. According to them, the rumor posted on AICN about Zaphod’s snot head is a total lie. In fact, the very person whom Aint-It-Cool posted a test screening review from is the guy trying to dispel it. Claiming to have seen the movie, he assures that Zaphod’s second head does not reside in his nose, but simply comes out from under his other head, probably as a method of camouflaging his alienness to poor, easily confused humans.

I’m not sure this rumor is any more reliable than the other, but I’m going to grab on to it with both hands so I can get back to sleeping at night and anticipating a great Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie. Thanks to CB Forumer spoon for the tip.
