While George Romero wastes time turning making a Blair Witch version of zombies in Diary of the Dead, there's at least one upcoming film doing something interesting with the genre. The film is Fido, and it's the story of a future where zombies have been domesticated, and serve as faithful pets.
Better than even the concept is the movie's cast. Carie-Ann Moss as a housewife, Tim Blake Nelson as a gun toting neighbor, the great Billy Connolly as the titular zombie Fido Frankly, I can't wait.
There's no trailer yet, but Lionsgate has graciously released the first poster and a bunch of stills for the film that do a great job of getting the point across. To see all of our Fido photos, just click over to our photo gallery here.
